It is Monday morning and we are about to meet the people we have come to serve....the Sonlight students and teachers. We start our day at 6:45 AM with breakfast and then PROMPTLY at 7:30AM we attend a standup devotional with all of the staff at Sonlight...teachers, teacher aids, office team...everyone starts the day with one focus....sharing Jesus with this children!! Then once the devotional time is over....we head to the school yard. Children are arriving in their bright white uniforms, beautiful hair bows, back packs and SMILES!! There is time for running, teasing, chasing, and catching up from the weekend with friends. At 8Am the bell rings and the children line up by grade and sing their Haitian National Anthem while saluting their flag that hangs on the front of the school.
Time for the day to begin!!! Here goes.....
